When most people throw away a piece of plastic trash, they give no thought to where it may end up. The reality is that our reckless polluting of plastic products has turned the Pacific Ocean into "the Great Pacific Garbage Patch". This massive garbage dump in the Pacific Ocean is literally a "toxic soup" of trash, plastic, garbage and human waste an area about twice the size of the continental United States that stretches from Hawaii to Japan.
The truth is that we are literally destroying the Pacific Ocean and the environmental horror that we have created is getting worse every single hour of every single day.
