Today scientists around the world are regularly creating bizarre cross-species creatures.  Once upon a time scientists actually respected nature and protected certain boundaries, but now recent advances in the field of genetic modification have opened doors that scientists are only all too eager to rush through and try to exploit.

For example, scientists have now created  a cat that glows in the dark.

Really.

A genetically modified cat named Mr. Green Genes recently became the very first fluorescent cat in the United States.

Once these hit the market, you will never have to turn on the lights to find your cat.

But seriously, this is very, very disturbing.

But this was not the first time this type of tampering with cats was done.  Some South Korean researchers had previously created a cat that glows red under ultraviolet light.

Now why would scientists be so cruel as to do that to cats?

Well, because they can.

But if you think fluorescent cats are strange, just wait until you hear about the next bizarre creature we are going to talk about.....

"Spider goats".

Yes, creatures that are part goat and part spider actually exist.

The Canadian company Nexia is producing goats that are genetically modified to be part spider.

The genetic modification causes these "spider goats" to produce spider silk protein in their milk that is collected, purified and spun into incredibly strong fibers.

These fibers are apparently more durable than Kevlar, more flexible than nylon, and stronger than steel.

That sounds great, right?

Nexia certainly sees nothing wrong with messing with nature in order to harvest a substance that has very valuable industrial and military applications.

The funny thing is that scientists are not even trying to hide all of this genetic modificiation anymore.

A lot of people have even accepted this tampering with nature as perfectly normal.

You can even watch television programs about these abominations.

Perhaps you are not disturbed by this kind of tampering with our ecosystem.

But what if scientists were combining animals and humans?

Would that disturb you?

Scientists would NEVER do that, right?

Wrong.

Human/pig hybrids will soon be grown inside of the United States.

This is being publicly announced and nobody is even getting upset about it.

A "cutting edge" new U.K. program will actually produce pigs with human genes in them. These pigs will be "grown" in order to produce organs for transplants into humans.

Just think about that.

We are going to have "beings" that are part pig and part human openly being raised right out in the open.

And do you know exactly where these pigs are going to be "grown"?

In Missouri.

An abomination right in the heart of the United States.

Does that make you angry?

It should.

What if those creatures ended up in our food supply?

Would that be enough to get you to take action?

You don't think they would ever do that to us?

Don't be so sure.

The FDA has announced that the offspring of cloned animals could be in our food supply right now and that there is nothing that they can do about it.

Seriously?

Yes, seriously.

Apparently the FDA feels that it is perfectly safe to have cloned animals in our food supply and they aren't really worried about it.

Of course we eat tomatoes with roach genes in them and we eat corn with insecticide grown inside of it every day, so why should any of us get upset about eating some cloned animals?

Well, if you knew the facts you would be VERY concerned.

Our health is being violated and compromised and most people are totally oblivious to it.

And did you know that if you live in the U.K., YOU can now be cloned without your consent?

It's true.

But that's not all.

Just imagine a place where the government uses your DNA without your consent to create human/animal hybrid creatures for bizarre scientific experiments.

Does that sound like the plot to an incredibly bizarre science fiction movie?

It's not.

The U.K. House of Commons has passed a law entitled the "Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill" that allows human/animal embryos to be created through cloning which scientists may then use for "scientific" experiments.

So where will the British scientists get the DNA they need for this cloning? Well, another provision in this horrific bill allows scientists to take DNA from certain classes of people without their consent. So, if you reside in the U.K., and you belong to one of those classes of people, you can now be cloned without your consent.

Does all of this seem incredibly evil to you?

It is incredibly evil.

Did you know that the 3000 year old book of Jasher (a book of ancient history that is quoted in the Biblical books of Joshua and II Samuel) tells of evil genetic engineering that was going on in the days of Noah?

It's true.

Just consider the following quote from the Book of Jasher below.....

But have we learned anything from the past?

Not at all.

Instead we are doing the exact same thing in our own day, but we think that we are so "advanced".

The truth is that we are "advanced" in evil and wickedness.

We are corrupting and destroying the earth at a stunning pace.  We have achieved a level of technology that we are not able to handle. 

How are we going to save the environment when we keep genetically modifying everything that we can get our hands on?  The reality is that once we let the genie out of the bottle we can't get it back.  The unintended consequences of our genetic meddling may be far worse than any of us ever imagined. 

Let us hope that sanity will prevail and that governments around the world will put an end to this madness.

One of the major environmental problems that we face today is that scientists think that just because they CAN do something that they should go ahead and do it.

The Russian scientists seem to think that this is a marvelous idea, but is this tinkering with nature really such a great idea?

Think about the ramifications of this for a moment.

These hybrid creatures are part goat and part human. Now, they are only a tiny part human, but the reality is that they ARE part human.

Once this type of tinkering becomes widespread, and these hybrid creatures start reproducing and multiplying, it will be impossible to put the genie back into the bottle.

This is particularly disturbing when you think of what could happen in the field of microbiology.  What kind of new devastating diseases and super plagues could we create by mixing different things together?

The truth is that nobody knows.

But of course all of the scientists involved in this try to make all of this tinkering with nature sound so noble.....

Dr Pyotr Vitsyaz of the Belarussian National Academy of Sciences had this to say about the program: "The new programme will be aimed at producing milk with the human protein, as well as making medicines from it."

Supposedly these "medicines" will be used to treat cancer and other various illnesses.

Doesn't that sound great?

But it is no excuse for playing God.

Just consider the following question for a moment.....

How much human does a creature have to be before we consider it to be human?

What will we do when creatures that are a quarter human or half human start running around?

What will we do when creatures that are part human start getting into our food supply?

Most people have no idea that several years ago, genetically modified rice crops containing human genes were approved for commercial production in the United States.

Does eating rice that is part human make you feel uncomfortable?

It should.

Just because science figures out how to do something does not mean that we SHOULD do it.

Once we destroy our delicately balanced ecosystem we will NOT be able to get it back.
