Well, the question of whether or not the BP oil leak in the Gulf of Mexico is going to cause "black rain" has apparently been answered. There have now been numerous video reports of it raining oil on parts of Louisiana and Florida. The video that you are about to watch below is absolutely jaw dropping. The most frightening thing is not that the oil is going to be rained on various areas of the southeast United States, but also that all of the highly toxic dispersants that BP is using will also be spread by rain storms. In fact, scientists tell us that the dispersants are even easier to spread by rain than oil is. Considering how serious this situation is becoming, you would think that Barack Obama would be making it his number one priority to stop the oil from coming out of the ground. But instead, Obama has refused all offers of international assistance, and he seems quite preoccupied with playing golf and with feuding with U.S. General Stanley McChrystal.
The truth is that this is the biggest environmental crisis in U.S. history and every day that oil continues to gush into the Gulf the immeasurable damage that is being caused gets even worse. Don't the folks in Washington D.C. care about the environment? Why aren't they doing anything and everything they can to solve this problem as rapidly as possible?
As noted above, the video of black rain posted below is absolutely stunning. Just imagine how you would feel if it was raining oil where you live....
And what exactly would be “everything possible?” What should the federal government be doing that it hasn’t already done?
1. Declare national emergencey.
2. Mobilize all national resources, commandeer all necessary nautical resources civilian and under federal jurisdiction.
3. Mobilize all able bodied, including unemployment and welfare to start working the beachs.
4. Stop the leak by having all the contractors work for the federal government included BP.
5. Nationalize BP if they do not stop the leak within one week.
6. Start telling the truth about what happened, why the over pressure, why the fire, why the rig was not pulled away from the pipe during the fire, why not several pipes instead of one pipe to bring the oil to the surface, why not the underwater umbrella used like in previous leaks in saudia arabia, why not several tankers being used to take the oil away, why dispersants, why are they not bolting a pipe to the existing flange which was designed for that very purpose, why did they cut the pipe off above the flange which is and was and will be proven criminal negligence, why are they understating the pressures involved and the flows involved.
The reasons for all the above are simple. This is a disaster that was let go on purpose. This one oil field with 50 more wells could support the US for all of its oil needs and we would no longer need to import terrorist OIL PERIOD!
Now figure it out, that is why the government is doing what it is doing and that is why everyone must now use the judicial system to sue and criminalize this entire fiasco.
And to think this whole time I thought oil was hydropbobic to water and couldn’t be absorbed into a raincloud…
And this whole time when oil was coming out of the asphalt on the streets during a rainstorm I guess I just never knew it was actually being rained down from the sky…

It’s not like a good alternative would be NOT using the dispersants. It has to be done.
For starters? Making sure that BP provides every person on the cleanup crews with OSHA approved Safety Gear like Respirators, Goggles, etc.,
Making sure that all MSDS material, and proprietary {read incriminating} recipes for Corexit and raw crude and burning crude and any other toxics released into the air water or soil are provided to Doctors, Nurses and First Responders so that people who have been over-exposed {as if there was such a thing} could get proper treatments before they become chronically ill, disabled or DEAD!!
STop dumping Dispersant into the sea so that oil can be scooped up, right now all we have are underwater suspensions of oil and dispersant waiting to evaporate and be carried up to the clouds as gas, to be rained back down on the US as per video shot above.
What else can they do? Stop Lying. Stop Seizing cameras and camera phones of citizens like they have police powers and let folks document the death and destruction because trying to hide it only makes them {BP}look like bigger Jackholes
Put the Governing BoD on a chain Gang and make them do cleanup without respirators or safety gear, for the equal amount of time civilians have been exposed to this toxic, carcinogenic mess.
Put the people directly responsible for the lack of safety features in Jail, Hard Time, with nothing but Soap on a Rope and a flower in their hair.
Gosh–I just think I could go on and on, but I think you get the picture. These people have killed the gulf, and if this black rain keeps falling, when the Gulf Moisture crosses Texas into Tornado Alley, it will be carried directly to our grain belts and our cattle belts. It will most likely kill our domestic bees and our wild pollinators, and the acid rain alone from burning oil will damage crops, structures and roads.
Out Govt needs to pull their heads out of their butts, and they need to pull BP’s $%*^ out of their gobs and start doing their ding dang jobs–which is not selling the ENTIRE UNITED STATES down the river for a few measely dollars. Because at some point it wont matter how much money you got, because there won’t be no clean food or water left the buy, and then what?
